Andrew Lavergne (The Shed)
vs Collin Cusimano (JM Modern)
After an injury forced a change to the matchup, Andrew Lavergne steps in on short notice to take on one of GSF’s toughest blue belt competitors.
Representing The Shed, Lavergne brings a 6-2 MMA record, including a championship run with AKA, and has shown a dangerous submission game throughout his career with multiple triangle choke victories. Now he brings that finishing ability to the GSF stage with very little time to prepare.
Waiting for him is Collin Cusimano of JM Modern.
Cusimano enters with an undefeated 2-0 GSF record, backed by a wrestling-heavy style, strong pressure, and the ability to control where the match takes place.
Short notice or not, Lavergne is stepping in to make a statement.
Cusimano is looking to stay perfect.
Two experienced competitors meet at GSF 5 with plenty to prove.
