I hope this cooler weather is not just teasing us. I am more than ready to have cooler temperatures and fall colors. What about you all? We have been really busy here these last few days. We have had our Matter of Balance classes as well as our other activities.
I am so excited to announce that we are having a new class on Tuesdays and Thursdays through October! We are offering 2 types of Zumba!! from 10:00 to 11:00 we will have Chair Zumba and from 11:00 to 12:00 we will have Zumba Gold (and don't forget Bingo at Noon on Tuesdays!)

DON'T FORGET OUR ANNUAL HEALTH FAIR IS ON OCTOBER 14TH, WITH MANY REPRESENTATIVES FROM LOCAL HEALTH CARE COMPANIES.

We will be having an exciting craft day in October (date to be determined- when all the supplies come in!) that will be on a Thursday afternoon. We will be making Christmas ornaments. Pictures will be up soon.

Good morning! I have an exciting opportunity for those in Campbell County who are in need of Food. The Senior Citizens of Campbell County is partnering with the Salvation Army to host a FREE Food market hare at the Center. There is no additional information that will need to be provide other than what is on this form. Please feel free to share with your family, friends, and neighbors.

The Salvation Army is also going to be accepting names for the Angel Tree Program and the Sillver Bells Senior programs at the same time.

Please stop by the Center to pick up a form or print this one off. I need to have all forms returned to me NOT LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 10TH, so that I can return all the information to the Salvation Army.

Hello out there!
Is everyone getting ready for the big 250th Birthday party for good old UNCLE SAM? It seems so strange to look at historic buildings in other countries that have been there since before Christ, and then our oldest buildings have only been here since 1640. Although, the Taos Pueblo in New Mexico is the oldest continuously inhabited building complex in the USA- dating somewhere from 1000-1460 AD. (Gee, I love history!)

Please remember to be safe during your celebrations! Remember there are some people out there that are not able to tolerate the fireworks (some of our brave veterans have PTSD attacks with the noises) and our poor animals don't like it either.
