I can't express how much this program and these people have kept me anchored and pushing through the obstacles in life and as an instructor. Ive learned so much about yoga, but more so about myself. Although the program is over, the love for this practice and these beautiful souls will keep growing.

Every time I lose sight, im always reminded how to see again. If I step off the path, the path finds me if i just step out of the way long enough to allow it. This weekend was like a warm hug from God reminding me why I do the things I do. It might be unconventional, and it might not make sense to others, but it is me, and im in love with it.... and in love with my Yoga Vibe family. They are beacons of light in my life each month and raise my spirits to keep going. 💜🙏🧘‍♂️

That freestanding Pincha feeling 🤸‍♂️

In case your yoga teacher hasn’t told you yet, it doesn’t have to take months or years of hurling yourself at the wall, doing endless core work, or hoping one day things will magically click.

Getting your inversions off the wall is NOT about doing more. It’s about following the right process, and that’s where most yoga classes fall short.

After helping thousands of students learn to balance on their hands and upside down (in all kinds of bodies!), here’s what works.

→ Start small.

Practice kicking up without the pressure of finding balance or knowing how to bail out. It’s like dipping a toe in before diving - your nervous system loves this.

→ Practice bailing on PURPOSE.

Most people avoid falling at all costs... but falling is how you learn to balance. When you practice bailing on purpose, your body builds muscle memory for how to exit safely which significantly reduces fear. When you reduce fear, you can focus on what matters!

This is how you build trust. Trust in your body. Trust in the practice. Trust in yourself. (And trust that you’re not going to break your face 😜)

→ Real-time feedback. Most people stay stuck because they don’t know WHAT they’re doing wrong.

Is it your hand placement? Your gaze? Something else entirely? Knowing exactly what to fix and when can cut your learning time in half.

And the result? Exactly what you see here 👆

Ready to experience this kind of breakthrough on your yoga mat for yourself?

Restorative and Yin workshop . Taught by the amazing Kristi Bult 🙏 If you know me, you know that this workshop was a challenge for me because I like to keep moving and move way too much for anyone's own good.... but this weekend was a beautiful reminder of the importance to drop down into stillness, to notice the subtle sensations of the body, to quite the mind, and make friends with the inner critic. Yang doesnt exist without yin, and its important to find a balance of both. 💜💜💜
