As a mom, nurse practitioner (working in Lafayette), and world traveler, I can appreciate the challenge it is to show up for yourself and stay committed to your goals. But you do! I am so proud of the resilience you've shown and the benefits you've received from your consistency and dedication to your practice! You show up every week, even if you drive straight in after a 24-hour shift, with such grace and a calmness that puts everyone at ease. I can imagine it's one of your strengths in your career! It is a true testament to your character, grit, and self-care. I hope you take a moment to celebrate how strong you are and everything you've accomplished. THREE!! YEARS!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Ok, this post is pretty incredible and super special! When was the last time you felt super dialed in, committed to the process and dedicated to yourself and your personal growth? Danielle Wallace was one of my very first clients when I was going through the certification process and has stuck with me and her Pilates practice for 3 years! Beginning as acquaintances at church, Pilates allowed a platform to deepen a friendship based on equal passions in life, motherhood, and growing into the best version of ourselves. As a previous dancer, Danielle quickly resonated with the fluid movements and found that Pilates offered the perfect balance of strength and flexibility she was missing.

Danielle.. I am so proud of you and this impressive milestone! I'm proud of the growth you've found in your practice.. and I'm equally proud that you show up for yourself and realize being a better version of you means you can show up better for your girls and the ones you love. Congratulations on three years!!! I'm excited for the journey ahead and look forward to many many more years together in the studio and as sisters in Christ! Love you!!! ♥️♥️♥️

🤩ONE YEAR🤩 I absolutely love making these posts.. especially when my clients make it so easy to celebrate them and their successes. A lot of you likely recognize this girl right here.. whether it's from living and working in our community or because you saw her on my earlier post congratulating future Pilates instructors. I know I say this a lot but it's only because it's true.. but Kerri is one of my absolute favorite people ever! In our initial intro session we immediately clicked and I had to apologize for chatting too much. In her professional life and personal life, she just gives off such a calming and safe vibe.. one you feel comfortable around immediately. She inspires me and challenges me daily as a fellow business owner, brilliant doctor, boy mom, wife and Christ follower.. and in the studio, her attention to detail, love for her practice, and humor when she tells me to "look away" during a challenging movement, makes my Pilates heart so overjoyed and just brings a smile to my face. She's selfless, bighearted, driven and ambitious, a forever student, and as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. I don't know how she juggles her own fitness, her dermatology and aesthetics practice and staff, being a mom, wife and a huge part of our community.. while also going through the BASI Pilates teacher training. She's amazing! And I am so incredibly grateful for her as a client and even more as a friend! Congratulations on your Pilates-versary Kerri!!! 🤍

Another one of my absolute favorite weekends of the year competed! Four future BASI Pilates certified instructors completed their in-person training getting them one step closer to doing amazing things in the world through Pilates! They worked their booties off and I know without even asking they are feeling it today! But to be sore and inspired, full of ambition with a heart on fire is the best feeling when working towards a goal and career. I can't wait to see what each of these incredible ladies is going to do in the near future and the impact they're going to make in the Pilates community.
And one of the best parts, they got to learn from one of the absolute best in the industry, my friend and mentor, Laura who has been teaching Pilates 16+ years and BASI staff for the last 5. It was overall an amazing weekend.. I get so much joy and pride seeing future instructors recognizing the importance of getting certified the right way to further spread a true Pilates practice within their communities. My heart is so full!

🤩ONE YEAR🥳 Another name on the wall!! When an existing client wanted to bring a "friend" in we didn't even make the connection that we had the same friend until Jessica walked in the door! 😆 Jessica is a church friend turned client and I just love how Pilates can be a platform to develop and grow relationships! She came in hesitant with back and previous knee issues and she's now feeling even stronger and more balanced than ever! To know Jessica is to love her! She is just as passionate in her prayers for you as she is hilarious in conversation. I never have to wonder what she's thinking because it's always written all over her face. I absolutely love having her in the studio.. there is never a dull moment!

Congratulations on your Pilates-versary, Jessica! I'm so glad our mutual friend made this connection! I look forward to many more years walking this Pilates journey together!! ❤️

Within the next year or so I will be hiring.. sooner or even later for the right person. So why am I saying this now? Because your certification matters and, on average, it takes anywhere from 6 months to a year to get certified when you do it the right way.
