The month leading up to the Sydney Marathon was rough. I had an injury that I was struggling with, which basically made it hard to run, and add to that major dental work 3 weeks before race day. If it had been any other race I might have called it but I knew I’d never get to run Sydney again. I toed the start line with the only expectation of finishing in the time limit and getting my medal. AND I did it 😎. Sydney 2026 is crossed off the bucket list. The whole trip was an amazing experience. Now I guess I’ll let my body heal for a while.
