Axel started both his heat and the feature in the back.

Heat:
P5 (Was pretty much boxed in with nowhere to go the entire race and it was follow the leader).

Feature:
P8 (Another situation where he was pretty much boxed in most of the race anywhere he tried to go).

Still showing really good lap times in both his heat and feature!

I’m not going to lie.. the look on my face when I saw these pictures from Madison International Speedway a couple of weeks ago went something like.. 😬🫢🤭😆. Both of these wraps have officially made to the 3rd year of a bando season and that in itself is pretty impressive. I just keep telling myself, “They are just back up cars… out there trying to making it through their FINAL season!” IYKYK lol 💪🏻
