Happy Birthday to our spark plug and Edge OG Kara. Kara brings to the field speed, energy, team spirit and did i mention speed? As a lead off hitter Kara leads the team in OBS% and scores 53% of the time she comes to the plate. The true epitome of a lead off hitter. Enjoy your day Onesie.

Despite not playing to our potential in the finals we still need to highlight that the girls had a great weekend overall. They put up 64 hits with great pitching by all four pitchers earning the number one seed. Sunday didn’t end the way we had hoped but we will use it as a lesson and grow from it. The recently revoked “no sleepover rule” is now back in effect!!!! 😂 😂 😂

Congrats to Riley for reaching 100 strikes outs this season. She has been a staple on the mound for Edge for many years and is about to surpass 1000 career K’s for the Orange and Black!!! Nice work 10!!!

Happy Birthday to Reese!!! Whether locking down 1B or hitting the ball a country mile, Reese always comes with a smile on her face, a love for the game, and a great work ethic at practices. Enjoy your day 7, hopefully it comes with a tournament championship.

Edge is staying close to home this weekend for the Armada Showdown. The girls look to continue their stellar play and try to make it 3 straight!
