I handed my fishing rod to a kiddo and let them hammer their first fish off the dock. Thereā€™s a magic in that momentā€”the pure joy and pride of catching something with your own hands, that every child deserves to feel. I never had a dad to take me fishing or hunting when I was young, so now, whenever I see a kid interested in fishing, I make sure they get the chance to experience it with me. As do my daughters. Itā€™s more than just fishing..itā€™s about sharing a moment, creating memories, and passing on something special. I wish every kid could feel what itā€™s like.
