Warrior Nation,

We have received several emails and calls from CSD high school athletes interested in playing for the Lake Wylie Warriors this winter. We appreciate your enthusiasm and want to clarify the expectations for the upcoming season.

Under Rugby South Carolina and NCYRU school representation rules, all CSD high school rugby athletes must represent Clover School District during this winter’s school rugby season. Any request for an exception must be addressed through the appropriate governing body.

The Warriors fully support school rugby and the opportunities it creates for our athletes. Supporting CSD’s high school program helps build sustainable teams, introduce rugby to more students, and strengthen the sport throughout our community.

When the school season concludes, we welcome ALL CSD athletes—and athletes from other schools and programs—to join the Warriors for spring rugby, subject to the applicable eligibility requirements. We look forward to bringing players together to represent our wider community and continue their development.

THIS WINTER HIGH SCHOOL REQUIREMENT DOES NOT APPLY TO YOUTH OR MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETES.

More information about middle school rugby will be released within the next week or so. In the meantime, the Warriors will continue to support the growth of rugby at ALL middle schools within Clover School District, working collaboratively to create more opportunities for students to learn and play.

Our school and club programs share the same goal: more athletes, more teams, and a strong future for rugby in Clover and Lake Wylie.

Thank you for your continued support and patience as we finalize these arrangements.

Go Warriors!

🇺🇸🏉 Warriors Representing on the National Stage! 🏉🇺🇸

A huge congratulations to Lucas and Brody Scott, who proudly represented the Lake Wylie Warriors this weekend at the USA Eagles vs. Zimbabwe international match!

Not only did they have the incredible honor of walking out with the teams before kickoff, but they also got to take the field during halftime and showcase their rugby skills in front of thousands of fans.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do—creating opportunities for young athletes to dream big, work hard, and experience the game at the highest level.

We’re incredibly proud of Lucas and Brody for representing our club, our community, and the future of American rugby with such pride.

The future is bright. 💙💛
