What a great day of basketball in Orlando! The Fire finished 3-0, Ignite was 1-2, and our Skills group was fantastic!

My thanks to Coach Tim, Coach Sheenah, Coach Everett, Coach Matthew, and Coach Sonya, our Unified Partners, and, of course, our amazing athletes for their participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship!

Out next competition is Saturday, April 11.

Meghan has been part of the Special Olympics movement for more than 12 years, including serving as our Chief Operating Officer since 2023. She’s deeply committed to our athletes and our mission, and leads with heart, vision, and purpose. Meghan believes in the power of inclusion and knows that through sports, our athletes can discover just how limitless their potential truly is. As she steps into this new role, Meghan will continue building on our strong foundation to help athletes thrive — both on and off the playing field.
