Congratulations to our very own Alli Drew Merrill on being named Athlete of the Week! 📣🐝
Alli Drew is new to our Varsity team this year, but she has already made such a positive impact on our program. She balances academics, Varsity Cheer, and competitive cheer outside of school, yet continues to show up ready to work, learn, and become the best athlete and teammate she can be.
What stands out most about Alli Drew is her work ethic and accountability. She never asks for a certain position or opportunity, she simply works to be ready when one comes her way. She accepts corrections, keeps working until she gets it right, and is always looking for ways to bring new skills and ideas back to our team.
Even more importantly, she is kind, encouraging, and always willing to help her teammates and coaches. She is a great reminder that being an athlete is about so much more than talent. It’s about effort, accountability, character, and how you treat the people around you.
We are so proud to have Alli Drew representing Buford Cheer and couldn’t think of a more deserving Athlete of the Week! 💛
