Start the day off with brunch with Santa at the Train Depot! Landrum City Hall is pre-selling tickets for $10 for children and adults both. (limited number of tickets available)

Be sure to stick around for the Parade starting at 2PM with the Christmas Stroll immediately following.

5 STEPS FOR A FABULOUS TIME at TASTE of Landrum:

STEP 1: Purchase Ticket
pre-sale tickets are $15 & available until WEDNESDAY at Landrum City Hall, Landrum Hardware, Stone Soup Market & Cafe, Sissy Boutique & the Farm House Tack Shop as well as on-line at Eventbrite
day of tickets are $20 & can be purchased at the two Registration Locations below.

STEP 2: Check In on Thursday afternoon
We have chosen 2 CHECK IN POINTS at opposite ends of town for your convenience
LANDRUM HARDWARE at 1712 Hwy 14 (near I-26, exit 1)
WHIMSICAL WORLD GALLERY at 116 E Jones Street (Just South of 176 & 14)
Check In will open at 3:30pm & tickets will be available for $20 (cash preferred)
You will receive a wristband, your TASTE glass, a map/guide of the event & a raffle ticket for the reception following the event.

STEP 3: TASTE Landrum
10 separate Retail locations will HOST the event in their shops and have been partnered with an area chef &/or food and beverage provider
All HOST locations will have signage outside for your easy viewing
Food & Drink served from 4pm-7pm to guests with wristbands only
We encourage you to visit as many places as you can make it to to eat, drink & get a true “taste” of Landrum.

STEP 4: SHOP Landrum
For every $10 that is spent in a HOST location during the event, one additional raffle ticket will be given. NO LiMIT! The more you spend, the more chances you have to win.
Small independent shops are what makes Landrum one of four unique towns in Our Carolina Foothills and every purchase helps.
The City of Landrum is offering discounted Horse & Carriage Rides around town during the event. Tickets may be pre-purchased or purchased on site. $5 per person, 15 min tour

STEP 5: RECEPTION with Live Music
Join us for a post event reception from 7-8pm at MOCHA’S MUG.
This will be an opportunity to come together in one location with Hosts, Chefs, Press
Music from Asheville duo Brooke & Nick beginning at 6:30pm
Raffles Prizes will be Announced throughout reception & winners MUST BE PRESENT
The 2019 Lion’s Club Resident of the Year will be announced at 7:45pm

A major part of our Hogback Mountain Day Festival is the summer sizzle by The Well Church Landrum Sc Rides will kick off at 5pm and run until 8:45! The Well is also serving a free meal to the community and all rides and games are FREE of cost! We hope to see you all tomorrow in downtown Landrum for our favorite town festival!

Grift Town Goods

Grift Town Goods is in our festival tomorrow in Landrum SC @ Hogback Mountain Day Festival
Casey Vandergrift, owner/creator of Grift Town Goods, is an artist as well as a one-woman design and screenprinting shop. Casey was introduced to screenprinting during her BFA at Murray State University. Screenprinting is a unique art form because all pieces are originals, but can be replicated and shared over and over again.

By printing her original designs on t-shirts, her artwork can walk around, meet people, start conversations, and be shared over and over again. She also makes artwork for walls, events, custom projects, and not just screenprinting.

Unlike the branded t-shirts in department stores, Casey handprints t-shirts and posters to talk about the environmental and social issues of our time. As serious as these topics can be, Casey depicts them with a non-threatening innocence making them easy to look at and to talk about. All of her T-shirts are responsibly sourced from sustainable companies that pay their workers a living wage. Some of the inks used are soy-based, meaning the production is more sustainable than the other
petroleum-based pigments.

The color fluorescent orange is a repeating theme in almost all of her designs. Orange ribbons are seen tied around trees that are to be cut down, orange signs are posted to provoke caution, and Casey is using this color to evoke awareness. The symbol of the little girl represents our future as
well as our inner child. The Powerlines represent the “lines of power.” When looked at more than once, one can find a deeper, darker meaning to the artwork. Once the lightbulb turns on, it’s really hard to turn it off. This is the goal-- to light up with the world with artwork that starts conversations.
