We are devastated to hear about the passing of one of our Athletics athletes, Emma Hicks. She joined our Miracle League of Mid-Michigan family during the 2022 season playing on the Athletics team through the 2025 season. Our hearts break for her parents, Matt and Shelby, her coaches, her teammates and all who loved her in her short 14 years on this earth. Rest in peace, sweet girl.

We have an adaptive fishing charter booked for the full day on Wednesday, July 8. We are looking to fill slots for a 2-hour trip out of Clay Township, MI with No Limits Fishing. Their boat is wheelchair accessible with ramp access and an electric boat hoist to level the transition to the boat.

YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED UNTIL CONFIRMED BY KRYSTINA. I will reach out after you register to provide you with the releases and fishing license link. After you have completed the registration paperwork, I will confirm your spot on the charter.

We have two spots for adaptive fishers on the 9am charter (one wheelchair user and one non-wheelchair user), one spot on the 11:30 charter (for a non-wheelchair user only), and 3 spots on the 2pm charter (2 for wheelchair users and 1 for a non-wheelchair user). Each fisher can bring one caregiver. The charter is being covered by a donation from MATRX Health & Fitness. You only need to cover your fishing license.

Today’s the day! Our 2026 season is starting, and we couldn’t ask for better weather. Come cheer on our athletes. Tonight the Athletics take on the Marlins at 6:00 p.m. followed by the Rockies vs the White Sox at 7:15 p.m. Let’s play ball! ⚾️🧢⚾️
