Throwing it back to our Senior Night. We are so proud of our 2026 seniors. We are grateful for all their work and dedication to the team and our program. We wish nothing but the best for all of you and we hope you never forget your time as a Viking ❤️🩵⚽️

Our next and final senior shout out for the week is Hiba Almashhadani!

Hiba has been playing soccer for Everett HS for the past 3 years! After graduating high school, HIba plans to attend the University of Michigan and major in biology. She then plans to apply and attend dental school. Hiba’s favorite soccer memory is when she was a sophomore and they walked to get ice cream after taking team pictures and coach Juan paid for everything. The advice she would give underclassmen is to live in the moment and have fun with everything. Hiba would like to thank her parents for “everything that they have done for me throughout the years.” She would also like to thank her coaches for “all of the effort that they have done to make me a better player.” Lastly, she would like to thank her teammates for “the good times and memories that we have created together.”

Thank you Hiba for all your commitment to the team. Over the years, you have improved greatly as a soccer player, and even better, as a young adult. I am very proud of you and your accomplishments. We have enjoyed your joking personality and your ability to adapt. We wish nothing but the best for you and future endeavors. We know you’re going to do great! ❤️🩵

Our next senior shout out is Gaby Pilar! Gaby has been playing for the past 3 years at Everett HS. Gaby’s future plans include going to cosmetology school at Douglas J. Her favorite soccer memories are all the bus rides, coming to practices, and making new friends. Gaby’s advice to underclassmen is “keep going, don’t ever give up, and come to practice on time”. Gaby would like to thank all the coaches for everything and helping her improve. She would also like to thank her parents and friends for pushing her through.

Thank you Gaby for all your time spent on the team. You have been a significant part to our defense and team. You’ve continued to show up, ask questions, and grow, not just as a soccer player, but as an individual. The coaches wish nothing but the best for you and your journey after high school! ❤️🩵

This week is a special one! We’ve got TWO home games this week. And we end it celebrating our seniors!

Join us Tuesday as we take on Okemos. Then Thursday, SENIOR NIGHT, against Lansing Eastern. We hope to see you there!! 🩵❤️

The time has come…it’s SENIOR WEEK!! Leading up to our senior night on Thursday we will be introducing our graduating seniors in the class of 2026!

Our first senior shout out is Ariune-Erdene A.K.A. Amy! This year is Amy’s first year playing soccer at Everett HS. Amy is an exchange student from Mongolia. After the school year ends here in the U.S., Amy will return to her country of Mongolia and repeat her senior year there. Once that is complete, Amy will return to the U.S. and attend Michigan State University and study engineering psychology. Amy’s favorite soccer memory is the first time she heard “Yes Amy”, “OK Amy, good job!” The advice Amy would give to under classmen is “Start [soccer] as early as possible, be determined and diligent.” Amy would like to thank her coaches, teammates, and her host family. “Without my coach’s, teammate’s, and host family’s support, encouragement, and care, I wouldn’t accomplish this. I feel so lucky to be doing this sport. I will appreciate you all forever.”

Thank you Amy for all your hard work and dedication to the team and the program. You continue to progress by the day and amaze us coaches! We are so proud of your accomplishments and growth. We wish nothing but the best, and we are so grateful to have met you along your journey! ❤️🩵
