Expect the unexpected… This is especially true when musky fishing! You have to always be ready.

Be honest… do you think you would have caught this musky if this were you? People have different philosophies of how to figure eight and how long to do it. Let us know what you think in the comments. This fish was caught using the TI Pro Rod from Tackle Industries on an irregular bucktail from Drop Tine Tackle. It was one of several Muskies caught during our most recent stay at Lake of the Woods Lodge.

This was a great experience, glad I got to get out with Pat again! 🎣🔥🔥🔥 Check out Lake of the Woods Lodge a great place to stay and fish out of. It’s become our go to spot on LOTW right there in Nestor Falls, Ontario. The gear mentioned: The TI Pro Rod from Tackle Industries . If you decide to order one you can save 10% use this code: AARONPODGORSKI
The reel was the Piscifun AlinoX 400. The lure was the Growler from Drop Tine Tackle a fantastic lure manufacturer which I highly recommend. If you have any other questions feel free to drop it in the comments.

This is footage from my DJI Osmo 360. I thought it was a really cool perspective with the musky follow and the way it captured the fight.

Throwback to a few years ago fishing for King Salmon on the Betsie. I don’t think I’ll make it up there this season, but I hope it’s good fishing for everyone who can.

This video explains the components of a basic musky setup. I’m going over rod, reel, line, and leader for Muskie fishing. Keep in mind all of this is subjective, but this will give you some general direction to get you started in the world of musky fishing. If you’re interested in the rod or reel let me know and I’ll give you a promo code.

Giant mystery fish! I had no idea what this was until I laid eyes on it. Kind of a rare catch!

I made a mistake in my last video! So, I decided to make another one to help others avoid the same problem. How do you tell the difference between a king salmon and a coho salmon? In this video I explain the easiest way to tell the difference. If you have additional tips to help or questions drop them in the comments.
