Today’s therapy: Sitting in silence, talking to God, while making these rope maces and clubs.

I feel so excited, scared, and anxious about life lately.

I’ve been putting in the years with my craft, lots of people call them flow ropes or Slushropes… but to me it’s art and my form of expression.

it’s a therapeutic process to sit with myself, express myself, and make art that people, like you, so happen to also appreciate. So thank you for that, thank you for being a huge part of the reason why I could do what I do today. 💕

I’m not really sure what point I’m tryna make on this post but I’m just being candid with yall…. Bc recently, im ngl im kinda hating how everything feels so artificial or curated online.

POV: Day In The Slush Life 👀✨⬇️

Slide 1 ➡️ one of my fave thing things is looking at our rope racks before they go home to their new owners 😭 They’re never the same and the mixing of colors always excite me. Some days it’s super vibrant, some days they’re super earthy!

Slide 3 ➡️ We had a 2nd batch yesterday and it was so cool to see the ropes line up that reminded me that“FALL SEASON IS COMING SOON” 😩🙌 I LOVE FALL SEASON SO MUCH!

Slide 4 ➡️ The other day, I felt very overwhelmed with life. When I get the chance to turn my brain off, I like to make a specific rope over and over again. The repition of the process is meditative, all which leads to my personal flow state that’s calming. Minimal thinking. Pure flow.

Slide 5 ➡️ Somewhere in Philly before we went back home after a weekend at Elements Music & Arts Festival

Slide 6 ➡️ what the duck! We spent so much of a short camping festival two weeks ago by sheltering in place due to@lightning and thunder. Puddles were everywhere so we people made the best out of it ✨

Slide 7 ➡️ While at Elements Music & Arts Festival , we found an interactive art installation where you stand in front of the camera and turns you into the visual character. It was so cool!

Slide 10 ➡️ My art journey so far. Bought 2 beautiful pieces from an artist from Peru 🇵🇪 And recently, I’ve been enjoying this odd combo of watching a set while looking at art 😹 Oh yeah, checkout our dirty feet 😹 That’s what happens when you submit to the elements, you’re one blob of dust and dirt 😹

Slide 11 ➡️ After hours Buugeng flow at camp 🏕️ I love how this modality allows me to slow down my brain . It’s healing fam. Slow is smooth , Slush feels good 🫡
