It has been a very tough decision, but a decision has been made that we will be cancelling this year’s GoldRush event Oct. 8th-10th, 2026. This decision was not made lightly as GoldRush has been one of our favorite events, making this an incredibly difficult decision.
We are emotional saddened to make this announcement as Legacy Racing has always followed through with their commitments. But from a business standpoint, we cannot in good consciousness move forward with an event that financially will cost us substantial more than the revenue it brings in.
With fuel prices reaching all-time highs, racers, families and businesses are feeling that burden. There can be many factors that lead racers to sign up for an event or not to sign up for an event. But the entry count shows very clearly that the racers are not in support of this event which is another reason why it is not on the 2027 calendar. Over the past 3 years, this event has been the most expensive event on the calendar for Legacy Racing to host and judging by the numbers, it’s probably one of the most expensive for the racers as well.
GoldRush was scheduled to be the final race of the season for some teams. To ensure they still have an opportunity to finalize their points championship battles, motorcycles, quads and three-wheelers will now join us at our final race of the year for all classes, WERDCO BC Desert Showdown in Pahrump, Nevada, December 3–6, 2026.
If you had signed up for the GoldRush event and paid those fees, we offer several options for those funds to be used:
1.We offer roll over for those fees.
Roll Over to the next event. 100% of the funds will be transferred to the next race.
Roll Over to a 2027 event. 100% of those funds will be applied to any event you chose for 2027 and any remaining balance will be refunded or charged at the time of the event registration.
2.Full refund. If you prefer to get a refund, we will reimburse you 100% of the GoldRush entry fees.

We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the race and appreciate the continued support and understanding of our racing community. Thank you for standing with Legacy Racing through this difficult decision. We look forward to bringing everyone together in Pahrump for the 2026 season finale.
