I had the opportunity to make the last minute trip up to Mission Valley Super Oval this weekend in Montana.

Feature 1: I made some mistakes in Qualifying and had to start 5th, I was able to make my way up to 2nd quickly and then had a battle to hold onto it letting the leader get out to a large gap. By the time I was gaining and making time on him it was to late and I ran out of laps to make anything happen coming home with a p.2

Feature 2: I had to start 9th once again based off of the initial qualifying times and I was able to get into 3rd within less than 10 laps and was running down the leaders before getting wrecked under caution by a lap car. Unfortunately we didn’t get to finish that feature.

Made the trip out to Irwindale speedway for the Cars Tour West race.

Friday 5/10/24: There was a lot of learning for me to do as it was the first time in the car in three months and my first real race since breaking my collarbone. As well my first race on the new motor, my first time at Irwindale, and my first time using the afco shocks. I qualified 15th in the 24 car field and after a series of cautions and putting myself in the right place I was able to come home 3rd

Saturday 5/11/24: This was the big feature with 30+ cars showing up and the top 19 cars all within tenths. I went out and was p.9 in practice we made a slight adjustment for qualifying and I struggled to hit my marks as a driver and qualified 17th I was able to get into the top 10 very quickly as we knew we had the pace from last night I was confident in the car but wound up getting collected in a spinning car. I went back out there and came from last to 16th in the 4 laps of racing we got before the checkered as the race was cut short 11 laps in. Very disappointed with how the whole night went being we only got 11 laps and I had a poor result knowing how fast of a car we had.

February 23rd-24th
After a shortened recovery from breaking my collar bone I was in the car again.

Friday: I got into the car to feel it out with my shoulder, after deciding with my father and team it was safe for me to race without to much pain I went out and qualified 4th and finished 5th after locking bumpers with another car and loosing a lot of time.

Saturday: I qualified 9th after running top 5 in both practices that day. I was a little bummed out missing the 6 car invert entirely I was hoping for a race to fall out way but it went the opposite just being stuck in traffic and not able to make the moves I wanted resulting in a respectable p.7 finish (3rd in division)
