A great first full day in Woodward! We started our morning off at cuddquarterhorsesllc checking out their facility, and pre sale set ups! We got to cool off and go to art class and bling out the cutest autograph boards as a commemorative piece for the 70th annual missrodeooklahoma pageant!

Finally we kicked off the first performance of the Woodward Elks Rodeo! And ran into a pretty cool team roper if you ask me! Thanks Jade for the picture!

What a fun last few evenings spent on the Arkansas Oklahoma line. For the first time in rodeo history a state queen was able to make an appearance!

The funny part, several people were certain that I must’ve driven for miles to get to Colcord! The truth is, it’s one of the closest rodeos I’ll go to all year long! (About 20 minutes)

Small town rodeos are some of my favorites and it’s easy to see the town come together to make each performance perfection! Newly added this year was a big screen which helped the marketing committee manage sponsorships, use the replay features and make it an overall better experience for the contestants and spectators! Did I mention it was also aired on the Cowboy Channel? That’s huge!

Thank you Colcord for letting this Arkansan represent, play in the mud, and assist as needed!

Let me take a minute to explain this shirt. As rodeo queens often times we find ourselves in the position of story telling. As many of you know I am a business owner and work a full time 9-5 six days a week on top of this amazing adventure of being Miss Rodeo Arkansas! I own a flower shop “falynsflowersandgifts” and have been doing my thing for nearly 3 years. During this time I’ve taken state and national level courses to become the best at my trade, put myself in the position to receive tough criticism and feedback, and continued to invest in my education.

College taught me business skills, the Arkansas Florist Association has pushed me to what I am today, and this passion of floral design wouldn’t have become possible without FFA.

Sure, I showed cattle, rabbits, lambs and did the “normal” in FFA too, but my career decision was directly impacted by something the FFA offered that wasn’t animal related! From there I received the highest award an FFA member could hold and was awarded my American FFA degree. This shirt is special to me because of the story it tells! FFA has a place for any and everyone and you just might become a florist too!

From rodeo arenas and pageants to leadership and educational events, Miss Rodeo Arkansas is honored to spend the month representing Arkansas and sharing the values of rodeo and western heritage throughout the region. 🐴

Can anyone name something the 4 of us have in common?

Rodeo queening is such a rewarding thing! About 5 years ago I didn’t know any of these three girls from Adam! But life works in funny ways and they have quickly become some of my closest friends!

There’s a specific rodeo in Arkansas that has brought the four of us together and we have passed the crown down and continued to leave a legacy for our state’s queening program!

Thank you girls for being great role models for the sport we all love!

What do 4 American quarter horses have in common?

They carry a variety of rodeo queens from all over, all different ages, and they tell a story.

If you ask each of us, our horses come from very different backgrounds, one is pretty young, one is broke in multiple disciplines, one is a childhood horse, and another is a horse that’s been passed on to the next generation of cow-kids!
