He is the No. 7 ranked heeler going in this year.

Tyler Wade is the No. 2 ranked header entering the NFR and is only about $6,000 behind reigning World Champion Kaleb Driggers.
Wade is making his third straight NFR appearance and sixth overall but has never been a position like this as he has never finished better than No. 8 in the world.
Wade owes much of his season's success to an April partner change that saw Wesley Thorp begin roping behind him. Wade was outside the Top 20 when the partnership formed, but the pair won Ogden, Spanish Fork, Caldwell, Deadwood and Puyallup to have the best summer of any team roping pair in the PRCA.

Rodeo contestants at a series of autograph sessions beginning on Friday, Dec. 8. All sessions, which feature the contestants representing the seven rodeo events, begin at 11 a.m. and last until 1 p.m. and are free and open to rodeo fans.

Now entering its 38th year in Las Vegas, the Wrangler NFR kicks off on Dec. 7 and runs for ten consecutive days. The event features the Top 15 PRCA contestants in ba****ck riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping and bull riding, plus barrel racing (WPRA).

The 65th annual Wrangler National Finals Rodeo kicks off its 10-night run at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Thursday, December 7. The competition will come to an exciting conclusion Saturday, December 16 when World Champions will be crowned. The Wrangler NFR, which is at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas Dec. 7-16, will have a record-setting payout of more than $11.5 million. This amount includes guaranteed prize money of $1.2 million for NFR qualifiers. Round winners take home $30,706 per round and average winners earn $78,747. Each go-round will pay a total of $99,053, while the average total will pay $297,159 per event. The stock contractor pay – which is 30% of the contestant payout
