23. Was wondering about traditions during the holiday season, no one has shared any yet. :/ ... Who celebrates anything other than Christmas? and what is it that you celebrate?

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend and black friday! It is that time, get out the advent calendars and start the countdown! 26 more days as of today! Would love to hear different family traditions during the Christmas season. Please share in the comments.

Let's see if we can get a little more sharing, after all, Sharing is Caring! In the early 1600's Thanksgiving was prompted by a good harvest. After the American Revolution thanks was given to God for events favorable to their causes. As President of the United States, George Washington proclaimed the first nation-wide thanksgiving celebration in America marking November 26, 1789, "as a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favours of Almighty God"! However you give thanks, give it freely and abundantly! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone! Share gratitude and make the world and your life a better place!
