Yesterday's 8+ mile hike exploring trails at Tuckahoe State Park was wonderful! Cloudy some rain, sleet and a few snow flakes made for a great day hiking the trails...highly recommend visiting this park!

Volunteer Where Few Get to Go!
Join us Nov. 8th for a hands-on workday at Bullseye-Ferry Landing Preserve, a site usually closed to the public. We are looking for volunteers to help with tree tube maintenance and roadside cleanup, supporting forest restoration and improving the surrounding landscape.
It’s a great chance to connect with nature, meet fellow conservation-minded volunteers, and make a real impact outdoors. We hope to see you there!

One of the most iconic trails in northern PA, the West Rim Trail, is full of rich history and breathtaking vistas. From the devastation of the lumber era to its rebirth as a haven for hikers and conservation enthusiasts, the West Rim Trail has been through it all. Learn more about the trail in this week's blog by Emily Wegner at https://paparksandforests.org/history-of-the-west-rim-trail/
