Comic’ atcha in small batches....and sporadic dates. Getting to the end of homeschool so giving this cinnamon roll bakery dream another go. I had a feeling last February to stop the bakery and get caught up on my house/life. Good thing I listened bc covid and homeschool and all that. It was good to get the siagon cinnamon out again! $15/half dozen, $30/dozen.

I love independent artists. They’re amazing and can do all the art that I can’t! Came across this sweet little picture from in flagstaff. I had a hard time choosing this one but, man, we all need a reminder of this sometimes. Sad people need all the love, even if they are hard to love at the time. Blake is getting used to the picture he said. 😉 I appreciate his acceptance of my quirky ways.

Hailey is 16, what the heck. Can’t believe it’s been that long that I birthed her after 18 hours! It’s been totally worth it. She’s a caring and kind and loyal girl. She tries hard and is talented in so many ways: music, art, weight lifting, being friends and fun! We love her! Today we went to get a bunch of birthday freebies lol. For sure, more fun than homeschool 😉

I’m grateful for people. I know a lot of people are introverts and I’ve seen so many shirts that say “I don’t do people.” but I enjoy people. I like their stories, their quirks and watching them. (Creepy but it’s interesting) I like learning from them and teaching them and imagining where they came from and where they’re going. I also am grateful for one of the greatest people I know, Jesus Christ. I’ve learned to see Him as a person, real and not fiction. He lived, He loved, He died. And He lived again. He loves all of us imperfect people in spite of our flaws and helps us to improve our flaws if we let Him. He has guided me through dark times. Through death, through disappointment, through bad and good choices (both mine and others). I’m grateful I have been blessed to like people. Yes, I need my books, baking, writing and running, all solo activities. But I sure love my people; you friends and people who have made a great impact on me, whether you know it or not. I love you all! I’m grateful for you 💕 (pies pictured are: “left to right Oreo, chocolate, pumpkin, apple crumble, lemon. We each made one. New tradition and I’m loving it!)

I’m grateful for my family! We’re wacky, grumpy, loving and forgiving. We are creative and adventurous and learning to be United. I also love our extended families. We are all so different but our differences also help us to accept each other
