How to feel comfortable in your own skin ๐
fitness is a huge part of my life, but it isnโt something that I am tied to.
fitness should ENHANCE your life, not make it more dreadful.
If youโre uncomfortable with your body, take action, and change it.
If youโre not happy with your diet, learn what food makes you feel good
If you want to have more energy, eat more nutritious food (donโt skip breakfast!!) yes Iโm calling you out.
If you want to build muscle, girl, youโre gonna have to lift some weights!
I hear you say, โI want to tone up my legsโ or โI want toned armsโ
but the second I tell you to lift heavy to get strong you get uncomfortable...
letโs put this into action:
say you have 5 books stacked on each other, the books will be representing fat.
and you slowly take 1 book off at a time. As you take 1 book off the stack (fat loss), your stack gets smaller but the overall shape doesnโt change!
Now letโs put a rock ๐ชจ under that stack. (rock represents muscle) As you take the books away, you start to see that rock appear more and more.
This is where a lot of women fail at achieving their dream body. They get so focused on losing fat over and over that they miss even putting on muscle in the first place.
if i could go back and redo my journey, hereโs what Iโd do differently:
1๏ธโฃ Train with intensity. Focus on progressive overload
2๏ธโฃ Fuel my body with enough food. Hit your macros (protein, carbs, fats)
3๏ธโฃ Rest & recover
4๏ธโฃ Stay consistent (youโre or going to be perfect, and thatโs OKAY. Keep on going!)
5๏ธโฃ Be patient!

shoulder workout of the day ๐ง๐๐ค๐ป brought to you by all of the carbsss from my weekly date night ๐๐
Lately my workouts have been feeling SO good! and in all honesty not every day feels like a win. Some days I donโt PR and that can mess with my head as Iโm preparing for the Olympia, but then I remind myself, โyou are your own competitionโ when Iโm feeling like Iโm not progressing, I remind myself of how far Iโve already come. (Plus is it just me or have you been doing the same 10-15lb lateral raises for years ๐๐)
Not every workout is going to be โprogressionโ but the fact that you still showed up is what matters.
Shoulder workout:
โ๏ธ single arm lateral raises (3x15)
โ๏ธ seated shoulder press (3x10)
โ๏ธ upright rows (3x10-12)
โ๏ธ single cross body rear delt flys (3x15)
โ๏ธ dumbbell front raises (3x12)
โ๏ธ machine lateral raise (3x10-12)

3 tips on how to lean out while maintaining as much muscle mass as possible!! ๐ค๐ป(Be sure to save this post to reference later)
1. DONโT change up your training routine. One common mistake I see ladies make is thinking they should switch from heavy lifting to high-rep, low-weight training to โburn more calories and lose fat.โ
But thatโs NOT what you want to do.
If you want to KEEP the muscle youโve worked for, your training should not be any different than if your goal was to gain weight.
Itโs best recommended to follow a structured workout routine that allows you to progressively overload your muscles each week ๐
2. TRACK YOUR MACROS ๐ฅ๐๐ฅช๐ฅ I know it can be annoying and tedious, but itโs the best way to CONTROL your outcome. What gets measured gets managed. Aim for roughly .9-1 g /lb in body weight in protein and make sure youโre in a caloric deficit. Remember, fat loss will ONLY happen if youโre in a caloric deficit. You canโt expect to outwork a bad diet
3. Creatine!!!
Creatine is the most highly researched and proven effective supplement out there.
๐ It enhances muscular strength and endurance. Itโll help you maintain & even build some strength as you cut. This is crucial!!
๐ Creatine promotes better muscle recovery (reduces the risk of muscle loss during calorie deficit)

Life update because I havenโt done one in awhileโฆ
๐VEGAS BOUND, still in escrow for a home so more details to come.
๐Training has been sporadic because of new schedule, but we are still making gains.
๐ Going from the most humid state๐ด to the driest ๐ฅต state takes some adjusting lol my nostrils are HURTING. Send haalp.
๐ Practicing more self care and MAN IS THIS SO IMPORTANT.
๐Teaghan is almost 7 weeks out and heโs looking pretty gnarly!
