YOUR ATHLETE'S KNEE PROBLEM MAY NOT ACTUALLY START AT THE KNEE.
When an athlete experiences recurring knee discomfort or struggles to control the knee during running, jumping or cutting, it's easy to focus only on the knee.
But the knee is part of a much larger movement system.
Limited hip mobility, poor hip stability, inadequate glute control, ankle mobility restrictions or poor foot mechanics can all influence how the leg moves and how forces are managed through the knee.
That's why the Dedication Performance System starts with an assessment.
Before simply adding more strength, speed or power work, we look at how the individual athlete moves.
Can they control the hip?
Does the knee track appropriately?
What's happening at the foot and ankle?
Can they stabilize and decelerate effectively?
Are they compensating somewhere else in the kinetic chain?
Finding these issues gives us the opportunity to address movement quality through corrective exercise, mobility, stability and appropriate strength work — and then integrate those improvements into athletic performance.
ASSESS → CORRECT → DEVELOP → PERFORM → MAINTAIN → REASSESS
The goal isn't simply to create a stronger or faster athlete.
It's to develop an athlete who moves better, stays more resilient to the demands of their sport, and is available to perform.
Move Better. Stay Healthier. Perform Better.

YOUR ATHLETE CAN'T PERFORM IF THEY CAN'T PLAY.
Getting faster, stronger and more explosive matters.
But there's another side of athletic development that often gets overlooked:
How well is your athlete actually moving?
At Dedication Performance, we don't believe every athlete should simply be placed into the same workout and expected to adapt.
Through the Dedication Performance System, we assess each athlete's movement and identify limitations in mobility, stability, strength and movement control that may be affecting how they run, jump, cut, decelerate and produce force.
Then we build from there:
ASSESS → CORRECT → DEVELOP → PERFORM → MAINTAIN → REASSESS
During the competitive season, that becomes even more important.
Training shouldn't simply add more workload on top of practices and games. It should help maintain strength and mobility, address developing movement issues, and prepare the athlete to better tolerate the demands of their sport.
Because the goal isn't just creating a better-performing athlete.
It's developing an athlete who moves well, stays resilient and remains available to play the sport they love.
That's the Dedication Performance System.

Strength and speed training can be extremely valuable for young athletes.
But sometimes, it shouldn't be the first step.
If an athlete has poor knee control, limited hip or ankle mobility, scapular dysfunction, poor pelvic stability, or difficulty absorbing force when they decelerate, simply adding more weight, speed drills, and conditioning may not address what's actually limiting them.
That's why our Dedication Performance System starts differently.
We assess how the athlete moves first.
Then we work through the process:
✓ Identify movement dysfunctions and performance limitations
✓ Improve mobility, stability, and movement quality
✓ Integrate strength into better movement patterns
✓ Develop power, speed, agility, and athleticism
✓ Progress toward better performance while reducing unnecessary injury risk
This is an important distinction between simply putting an athlete through a workout and developing the athlete from the ground up.
Your athlete doesn't necessarily need more training.
They need the right training for what their body actually needs.
That's what we determine through our Performance & Movement Assessment.
