Good Feeling Story Of Day !!!
Saw “Big Papa” the other day. He was one of our youth football players. Hard head big mouth kinda lazy always needing something general pain to everyone. Good kid with lots of issues. We spent a lot of time with “foot in ass” going to parent teacher conferences, mentoring, tutoring, all we as coaches could do. Finally had to let him go from team. He is doing fine graduated from HS no kids drugs or jail. Said how much he learned from us coaches and apologized for being like that and wished he had stayed on the team. He said the lessons he learned about school, life, and just being around strong black male role models helped him get through to this point. I said we tried our best and he said he knows too. I told him I’d contact the other coaches and tell them he’s good.
Makes it all worthwhile.

We Got Did Today !!! I'm usually not a ref basher but damn ... At least know the rules. Team "Nuff Said" tore it up. Won 2 lost in the Semi-Finals. Boys look good. Pylon Nationals next up. Work Hard Play Hard !!! Nuff Said.
