This Memorial Day Weekend, the Clark County Fire Department came together to honor the memory of our brother, Engineer John Minor. This would have been Engineer Minor's 15th year on the job and he left us far too soon. We thank everyone in and around the department, and across our community, for the outpouring of support as we remember our brother and friend. We send our thoughts and prayers out to John's family during this time of loss. Please know his memory will forever live on in the CCFD.

Today, the Clark County Fire Department welcomed 15 new firefighters to your CCFD. We hope you will join us in welcoming Class 26-1 as they take the floor and begin their career in the fire service and to our community. Congratulations and welcome Brothers & Sister!

Via Brasil has also graciously offered to donate 20% of the proceeds from dinners on Friday night (5/22) to the Proud to Rescue Benevolent Fund! For 43 years, the Clark County Fire Department Training Center on Tropicana has been the only training center we've known. But today, thanks to the Clark County Commission, we are extremely proud to say we broke ground on what will be a new, state of the art training center on the same site.

Not only will the training facility be new from the ground up, this site will also house a new fire station to serve the surrounding community. Our training center and Station 88 are slated to come online in 2028, follow us as to stay updated on the progress!

On behalf of all the moms in our Department, and all the mothers who helped us become the firefighters we are today, we would like to wish all the moms across our community and our state a very !

On Sunday, your Clark County Firefighters partnered with Walmart and The Shade Tree of Las Vegas to welcome kids to CCFD Fire Station 39, help deliver gifts, and make sure everyone had a head-start on having a very ! Thank you to everyone who helped make this a reality!
