β€οΈβπ₯ Without struggle there is no transformation! π«΅
π₯ PERFECTION π There is no perfection in Judo. There is only improvement.
π Every practice, every mistake, and every lesson is another step toward becoming better than you were yesterday.
π₯ STRUGGLE π Failure is the βseedβ of success. In Judo and in life, every challenge makes you stronger.
Without struggle, there is no victory!
So embrace the pain β it prepares you for glory! β€οΈβπ₯
π§ MINDSET π Technique is important, but mindset wins matchesβ not only in Judo, but more importantly, in life!
π«΅ Life will knock you down many times, but if you keep getting up, you canβt lose!
πͺ DISCIPLINE π Talent, motivation, and goals donβt matter without discipline. Itβs the bridge between where you are today and where you will be tomorrow.
π«΅ Show up, do the work, and never miss practice!
π₯ RESILIENCE π77 year-old collegiate wrestler learning Judo. He trains an hour and a half of BJJ, then still stays for another hour and a half of Judo.
He says he has nothing better to do than train, and he makes it to class every single day. πͺ
To the younger generation β admire them, respect them, learn from them, and take care of your elders. Theyβve made it this far in life for a reason! β€οΈβπ₯
They are resilient, full of wisdom, still have purpose, and they refuse to quit!
π₯ TIMING IN MOVEMENT π Footage from last nightβs class β we worked on executing throws while in movement. Timing and footwork are extremely important in Judo. You have to develop the skill to throw your opponents while theyβre moving.
If you can do this, theyβll never see your attack coming! π₯π₯

π₯ NOGI Judo class tonight. Good job, team! β€οΈβπ₯
π₯ TIMING OF THE THROW π A great way to develop the timing of your technique is to practice throwing in different directions.
π Train forward, backward, left, right, and in a circular motion.
π This helps you adapt to your opponentβs movement and improves your ability to execute throws from any angle.
And the more you do it the better your timing gets! π«΅
