Hello all,
I wanted the news to first go to the girls before reaching out to all of you. Today, the Lady Aggies Volleyball program will begin a new journey. After 6 years, I have decided to step down as the head coach, and with my decision, my coaching staff will also be stepping away. This is a decision that was very difficult, but needed for my family.
In 2017, when I was asked to come here, it was with a goal to create a culture that everyone wanted to be a part of and one that defined the essence of a family. I truly believe that we have been able to achieve that goal and much more. Every team is full of amazing young women who will continue to grow and represent a program that invests in each individual. You all supported us through my mother's illness and death, and you loved and cared for me as part of your own family. I will never be able to put into words the blessings you have bestowed upon me, and I am honored to say that I was your coach. You have helped me grow as a person and coach, and I can only hope that I have done the same for all of you. I believe our program can continue to represent Arbor View in a positive light and set an example of what an amazing human looks and acts like. Be the light in a world of darkness.
As of now, I do not know who will be taking over, but I assure you that administration will work hard to find the right fit.
Thank you for all of your love, support and commitment. Many of you have become a major part of my own family, and I hope that relationship continues.
