It was a crazy week 1. I lose the Ravens by a toe on the line, blow a 17 pt lead with the Titans. The head coach had a great quote. "If we would have punted on first and ten, we probably would have won the game!" I got some late information on the Rams about how beat up the offensive line was and switched my subscribers to Arizona+6.5, which almost blew a 17-point lead and managed to cover the 6.5. I haven't seen this many injuries going into week 1 and the league plays one less pre-season game. The refs threw over 20 flags for a new penalty for illegal formation.

This time of year, I like to go back over certain situations each team faces so today I'm writing about teams playing their 3rd road game in 4 weeks. I broke this down by divisions over the last 3 years ATS. The NFC North has the best record going 16-6 with Chicago (5-1) and Green Bay (4-1), leading the way. Detroit was (5-2) and Minnesota (2-2). That's a strong 72.7%. The worst of the bunch was the AFC West. The Chargers were (0-3), Kansas City (3-4), Las Vegas (2-3), and Denver (1-2). That's 33%. I am an avid dog lover; we are on our 3rd adoption. We started with Jersey Boy, then Coco which we lost last November, he is the one riding with me, and now we have Patch, we got him at 6 months old. He will be 11 months on the 25th. I'm donating a dollar for each book sold to our local shelter and encourage anyone to adopt a dog or if you can't do that to donate to what has become a very problematic situation in most cities now.
