"To the alumni of Chaparral high school, your 2022 Chaparral varsity baseball team. Today we played our first game of the season. We took on Foothill high school. Final score 12-2 Foothill. Although the score says a lot, what we saw out of this team is a chance to compete. Many errors were made and only giving up 4 hits made this team realize that once we got this first game out of the way that we do have potential to make a push leading into the playoffs. Seeing how much different things are going this season and with them buying into what I’ve been preaching has hit them to accept any challenge this season. First one is out of the way and on to the next. We take on Legacy 3-15-22 on the road. Thank you all so much for your sponsorship as well. We appreciate what you’ve done for us. Go Cowboys."
