13 years sober today !!

2nd year in a row I get to tell my story to my clients at a treatment center I dreamt up over 3 years ago. The treatment center is bigger than I ever thought it would be. Not in numbers but in how we have impacted so many lives. What my partners, co workers and staff have been able to do is nothing short of a miracle.

None of which was ever possible until I surrendered and admitted I was powerless over the drugs and alcohol.

Forever grateful for the life that was so freely given to me through sobriety

Fun fact! This was the first time my oldest daughter was able to hear my story. What a long way the two of us have come. So grateful for what we have Today :) ❤️

Watching my girls knowing they have my competitive passion will never get old!

I’ve competed in some fashion up until these last couple years and it’s nice to live through my girls now!

Looking forward to many more comps no matter what they are doing !!

The biggest tournament thus far of a her jiu jitzu career. We been training hard daily often doing double days and now incorporating high level wrestling with to improve jiu jitzu!!

She is so dedicated to this sport, yet still has so much fun. You can see in some of these Pictures she isn’t crazy nervous and has a passion for competition.

Today she faced off against the best girls in the country in her division beating the top ranked # 1 and #2.
She had wins from a girl in Hawaii , Oregon , here in California and a girl from Atlanta Georgia in the finals.

I am pretty sure her mom and I were more emotional than she was. SUPER proud parents.

Shout out to her coaches whom she adores and trusts with everything and

No idea where this journey will end but we are all enjoying the ride as these girls continue to make me extremely proud

Yesterday was one of my proudest dad moments in my dad career 🥰🥰

I grew up playing and only being involved in traditional sports. Baseball, football, basketball etc… so putting my kids into jiu jitzu was new to me. It was actually my wife who signed them up. When she told me I was like “ok cool”. Not really having any expectations I was excited for them to just be in something as we were in the middle of Covid at the time.

Now 13-14 months later I am so grateful for this sport, for this jiu jutzu life and discipline that is being taught to my kids. They are getting so much more out of it than ever expected. I am so grateful for the studio we have. What for these kids is truly amazing. All the coaches are top notch has also been very impactful. Professor Josh, another class act.. thank you guys for sharing your passion and passing it along to the youth.

You can see her nearly getting choked out in next slide, you can also see what this does to me lol. I am screaming my head off cheering for my baby girl as I watch her fight to the end , never giving up.
Tomorrow is Father’s Day and I am so fu***ng proud of my girls.

It’s started as an idea 15 months ago. Today on June 6th 2022 we opened the doors officially to the PH wellness treatment center. We are now officially open to save and change some lives.

Fear, anxiety, excitement to name a few emotions that have been on my mind the last 48 hours.
Starting a big business like this isn’t easy, it’s been one of the most challenging things I’ve endured to date.

I often wonder “did I just get in over my head”
But after going to the facility today, meeting with the staff I know we can do this! I was meant for this, my partners and were meant for this! This staff was meant for this! We all are in Tia to help as many people as we can just like we were helped.

We truly have something different going on, something that can really impact and influence the way treatment handled from start to finish.

Daddy’s girls for life !!!!

Ive been asked to be a part of some pretty cool things in life, qualified and been proud of many accomplishments in my life.
However today , my daughter Kalia had her “bring a special person” to school day for lunch on the lawn and she chose me. That’s right my baby girl chose me and it was the greatest feeling in the world to be her special person.
I am filled with gratitude and honored to have been her person.. I love my girls, looking forward to being all of their special persons forever ❤️❤️

I finished in 3rd place overall in the world and 1st in the world in my age group.

Both guys 1 and 2 were 34 years old. When I was 34 I was training for the world championships in Kona for Ironman. I miss that age!

I trained hard for this comp. I wanted to do well. I been busy as f**k with 2 business 3 kids and a pup. However I never missed a programmed workout from . He designed some great workouts for me and had me ready. So thanks mate! I appreciated the grind!

Time to mess around for a month or two until I find something else.
I will be ready
