One egg is averaging about .47. So if eggs are 6g of protein/egg and I usually eat about five eggs, that’s 30g of protein per 5 eggs or $2.35 for 30g of protein.
My protein shakes are 24g per scoop with about 28 servings per container.
Eggs are now 30g of protein for $2.35. My high-quality protein is 24g of protein for $2.00. Add a cup of high-protein milk. That’s an additional 8g of protein.
So get 32g of protein per serving for $2.00 or 5 large eggs and 30g for $2.35. That sounds like a convenient and more affordable trade-off to me. 💪🏾

Understanding vs. Ex*****on

Here's a secret:
SOMETIMES I JUST SHOW UP!
I show up to the gym or my workout without a plan...I show up without knowing how long I am going to be there. I may have a window of time in mind, but as far as how long I am going to be there within that time window, I really don't know.
These are usually the days it's hard to get out of bed. I don't want to do anything, but I know that doing something is better than nothing. Most of the time, these days are my better workout days. The days I needed to get my ass up and just do something. The days I needed that extra boost of endorphins from a great workout. The days I just needed to get out of bed and clear my head.
When I taught boxing/kickboxing conditioning class back in the day, before class started, sometimes I would tell everybody that the most challenging part of the workout was already done. They'd look at me upside my head at that point, but I'd finished by saying something along the lines of,
"Most people are still in bed and don't make an effort to walk through those double doors. Showing up is the hardest part. Great job! Let's get to work!"
So let's SHOW UP! Happy Monday!

Every cognitively healthy individual can change their odds in life and success. Your growth is directly reflected in your knowledge and effort at whatever deviation from where you are or where you were.
For example, If my goal is to walk a mile and I stay on my couch, there is zero chance I'll be successful at my goal. I am not putting in any effort or activity seeking knowledge in what I want to accomplish.
Now, let's say I want to walk a mile, and I decided today I would walk a block. My odds have just changed. Not only did I walk a block today, but I decided to actively look for a coach to help me better inform myself on what it takes to improve in these areas. I went from having a zero change from the couch to an improved possibility because of the effort and the information I am seeking to get to my goal.
This mindset shift is valid in every area (i.e., health, wealth, or relationships.)
If you don't do it, there are zero chances of success. If you do and are proactive, your odds have gone from ZERO to improvement based on the variable, which is the effort and knowledge we control.

***BLUNT POST***
I've reached out to many people, and many have reached out to me about behavior/healthy lifestyle changes. A response that I get a lot is,
"I can just do it on my own."
I agree! You can, it's possible, but if you can, why haven't you? If you're ready and willing, what's stopping you right now from doing it?
Some people are just a coach away from making the changes they need to become the healthier version of themselves. It's not just about going to the gym and eating right. It's about the entire process—the psychology between wanting to do and actually doing it. The knowing you're worth it and understanding that you have the attributes to make it happen today, right now.
There are coaches and assistants in sports and business. Health/accountability coaching takes that same process and applies it to your health. More than 70% of people are overweight or obese in America. Usually, it's not because they don't know what to do; it's because they are just not doing it.
