Congratulations to former baseball Bear Garrett Spikes and former Assistant Baseball Coach, Coach Suggs for being inducted into the Mountain View High School Ring of Excellence last Friday.

Garrett was a 3 sport Mountain View athlete who played football, wrestled his way to 3 state championship podiums winning the state title in 2019 and he was a big contributor to our MVHS baseball program. Garrett was ranked the 2nd best infielder in the state in 2019 and earned a perfect (10.0) Perfect Game grade. He went on to play baseball at UGA.

Coach Suggs was a former MVHS baseball and softball coach who was inducted into the Mountain View Ring of Excellence along with the 2019 MVHS Softball team who was the first MVHS sports team to win a state championship.

We are proud of these former Bears who demonstrated leadership, service, character and commitment during their time at MVHS. GO BEARS!

🔥 EYES ON JAMESON JONES! 🔥

The 2027 Mountain View Bear is making some serious noise! 🐻⚾️

Jameson put together one of the most eye-catching offensive performances of the day, posting:
💥 Top average distance — 290 ft
💨 2nd-best average EV — 93.9 mph
🚀 4th-best max distance — 377 ft

And he didn’t stop there… multiple doubles into RF and a swing that brings some serious power to the plate.

The momentum is building, and we can’t wait to see what Jameson brings to the Bears this spring! 🐻🔥
