Happy Easter, Grit Fans!🐰⚾️

Our 8U squad didn’t bring home any hardware at the PG Easter One Day tournament but they battled hard too!

Watching these players grow week after week is the best part of the game. This weekend wasn’t just about the scoreboard. It was a celebration of their continued growth and the hard work they’ve been putting in at Grit and LCLL practices. Keep up the hard work boys!

🏆 LATE NIGHT CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Our 9U Grit team proved exactly what they’re made of this weekend! After an absolute marathon of a day, starting at 8:00 AM and battling through 5 games, they secured the championship at 11:45 PM!

Talk about heart. These boys stayed focused and fueled up for nearly 16 hours to bring that trophy home.

Congrats to Hayes being named MVP Pitcher and Grady named Tournament MVP!🎖️

From sunrise to nearly midnight, you guys earned every bit of this win. We are so proud of you! 💪🏆

It wasn’t just a game; it was a battle. Despite the pouring rain and soggy conditions, these athletes didn’t just show up, they showed out. They fought for every out, stayed locked in through every inning, and proved exactly why “Grit” is in their name. ⛈️💪

So proud of the heart and hustle this team displayed today. Way to weather the storm and bring home the WIN!

Tomorrow morning, the PG Easter One Day Tournament kicks off, and League City Grit is all-in! We aren’t letting the threat of rain stop us, in fact, a little water on the turf just means more sliding celebrations! ⛈️🔥

Talk about living up to the name! Our boys left it all on the field this weekend, putting up an incredible 4-1 record and fighting their way into the championship. We came up just a little short in a hard-fought battle against the Crosby Owlz, but a Runner-Up finish after five games of pure hustle is something to be proud of. These boys showed heart, teamwork, and most importantly GRIT!!

Update to add: Boys were on fire! Another in the park HR by Trace in Semi finals! Championship game here we come!

The 9U LC Grit had a strong start to the weekend, going 2–0 in pool play yesterday! The day was highlighted by in-the-park home runs from Luke and Hayes, giving the team and crowd plenty to cheer about.
They’re back in action today at 11:30 AM. Come out to the Ballpark at League City and help cheer on the Grit! ⚾🔥e

On Valentine’s Day, our 9U boys handed their moms a rose, a small thank you for the big sacrifices they make every single season. From early mornings to late nights, dirty uniforms to loud cheers, our baseball moms are the heart behind it all. ❤️

9U boys didn’t let soaked fields stop them from repping their new Sunday uniforms! They met at the Sportsplex to go support the concessions and silent auction!

8U, 9U and 10U put up a good showing at the Joseph's Warriors tournament this weekend, even though the rain kept some from being able to finish. We are so proud of our organization and the work they have put in early this season! The best is yet to come!
