⚾🎓 Congratulations to our 2026 LYBSA Dawson Scholarship Recipients!

Lebanon Youth Baseball & Softball Association is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 LYBSA Dawson Scholarship. Each year, LYBSA awards $2,500 college scholarships to three former players to help them continue their education at a traditional college or technical school.

This year, we are proud to recognize:

⚾ Aiden Dedman — Watertown High School
Aiden, son of Matt and Tracey Dedman, played four years of varsity baseball at Watertown High School. He will attend Cumberland University, where he will continue playing baseball while pursuing a Nursing degree.

⚾ Evan Kleinmann — Mt. Juliet Christian Academy
Evan, son of Dirk and Tabitha Kleinmann, participated in varsity baseball and theatre and served as class president at MJCA. He will attend Bryan College to pursue a Mechanical Engineering degree.

⚾ Yates Swindell — Lebanon High School
Yates, son of Tol and Kelly Swindell, participated on the golf team and graduated with honors from Lebanon High School. He will attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he will pursue a degree in Information Systems & Cybersecurity.

Through 2026, LYBSA has awarded more than $45,000 in scholarships to former players as they continue their education. We are incredibly proud that the impact of LYBSA extends beyond the baseball and softball fields and into the futures of the young people who grew up in our program.

Congratulations, Aiden, Evan and Yates! We are proud of you and wish you continued success in this next chapter. 💙🩵

More than a game. Building futures. Supporting the next generation.
