⚽ FALCONS BATTLE TO A ROAD DRAW ⚽

Cedar Crest went on the road Wednesday and came away with a 2-2 draw against Manheim Township in an L-L League Section 1 matchup.

The Falcons struck first, with Grant Reesor finding the back of the net in the 38th minute off an assist from Lucas Schreier. Just five minutes later, Schreier added a goal of his own to give Cedar Crest a 2-0 advantage heading into halftime.

Manheim Township responded in the second half, scoring in the 58th and 64th minutes to pull even. Neither side could find the deciding goal from there, leaving the Falcons with a point on the road.

Chance Endy finished with three saves in goal for Cedar Crest, which moved to 3-1-2 on the season.

The result also leaves Cedar Crest and Manheim Township tied atop the Section 1 standings as the race continues to take shape.

Next up, the Falcons return home Monday to take on Warwick. ⚽

⚽ Falcons Win a Wild One at McCaskey! ⚽

Cedar Crest Boys Soccer came away with a dramatic road victory Monday night, holding off McCaskey, 4-3, to improve to 3-1-1 overall and 2-1 in section play.

The Falcons wasted little time taking control. Jemar Pauleus struck twice in the opening seven minutes, scoring in the 3rd and 7th minutes to give Cedar Crest an early advantage. Lucas Schreier added another in the 20th minute off an assist from Avery Stokes.

McCaskey made things interesting late, scoring three times in a four-minute span from the 70th through 73rd minutes to suddenly pull even.

But Schreier delivered the answer. He scored his second goal of the night in the 78th minute, providing the game-winner and sending the Falcons home with a 4-3 victory.

Pauleus finished with two goals, while Schreier had two goals and an assist. Pauleus also continues to lead the league in both goals and points.

Cedar Crest will look to keep things rolling Thursday when the Falcons travel to Manheim Township for another Section 1 matchup. 🔵⚪⚽
