South Metro KC Trail Running

11/14/2020

I wanted to start a discussion on everyone’s favorite trail apps and resources to finding trails in this area. Urban trail co seems to be doing the bulk of the maintenance and trail building, their webesite is urbantrailco.com. They have a volunteer sign up as well which is pretty cool, I just signed up myself. I have been using mostly the app Trailforks (free for the KC Metro) and Alltrails as a backup.

Starting this group off to give information on trails, resources to find trails, a space for runners to share their experiences, and a place to coordinate group runs. Feel free to post or recommend updates.
