It is the perfect time to clean out the barn/tack room/garage/spare closet etc!

We are taking a load of supplies down to southern VA to meet up with the Central Virginia Horse Rescue who is working with Fleet of Angels to distribute to those who need it most!

-Thrush/Fungus stuff
-Feed
-Hay
-Etc.

WHEN:
Short notice - we are making this run Sunday AM so please try to drop off sooner rather than later!

It has been a busy week at the farm! Jimmy and Capi headed to a local dressage show to practice their pony ballet! Both brought home pretty ribbons! Great Riding Jen Valentine and Claudia Yates!

Greta knows the importance of staying hydrated in this heat!!! 😆

The Meridian mares know the cure for Wednesday blues… selfies with friends!

It’s a wrap! We had a blast taking the minis to a magazine photo shoot! No one bit the model (or snotted on her many white outfits...) so gold stars all around! 🐴🐴🐴

A big congrats to Jimmy and Jen Valentine for a spectacular performance at Southern States! Jimmy brought home all the ribbons and showed his versatility in everything from hunters to western dressage!

Jimmy got a final pep talk last night before an early AM departure today. All his barn buddies at Meridian wish him and Jen Valentine good luck as they head south to compete at Southern States! Go Jimmy go!

The weather finally cooperated and we got some sun for our outing to a local schooling show! Greta continues to prove she is a unicorn. Capi was a very brave boy for his first show outing and did his first ever dressage test!

Thanks to the folks at Red Gate Farm, LLC for providing such a wonderful show! We had a blast!

Also provided for you enjoyment is Greta once we got home...we call this her “off duty” unicorn look🙈

We got lucky with a beautiful weekend! Jim and Sunny were excited to get out and go (and go and go...)!

We got lucky and had some beautiful sunny weather for our first off property jump school of the season! 🌸☀️🐴🌺

Greta showed the geldings how it’s done and was her usual magical unicorn self. 🦄💜

Baby horse Sunny managed to hold it all together and did not spook at the start box (he realllllly thought about it). 🐴😱

Jimmy jumped around like he champ that he is and gave his little bros a bold lead over some scary intro logs. 🏆

Capi - our newest addition - proved to be a solid citizen and took it all in stride we can’t wait to watch him grow! 🐴💙

Gold stars for all the ponies and riders! Thankfully we are better at wrangling ponies then we are at taking group selfies....

1 s**ce available (April) for a gelding in our small, quiet barn located minutes away from downtown Leesburg.
We are a small facility with a great group of riders and boarders doing a little bit of everything from Western to breed shows to eventing.

All our horses are on "fancy" field board - out as much as possible but have their own stalls for weather, breaks from the mud/wind, overnight before a show etc.

-Roundbales in the fields, free choice hay in stalls and feed 2x day high quality feed and owner provided supplements as requested.
-Bluestone arena with lights and jumps on property
-Access to trails & quiet gravel roads for hacking
-Hot/cold wash rack
-Tack room & Feed room
-Storage s**ce for blankets etc.
-Outside (insured) instructors welcome

We told Newton that the first day of Spring is five weeks away, and he just had to celebrate! ...and spread the news to his big bro Jimmy, of course! We agree with you, Newt, I think we are all ready!

Big day for the boys! Sunny had his first XC school, with big bro Jimmy along for company and some schooling of his own. Both boys jumped around like stars and we all had a great time at Loch Moy!

Jimmy thinks it was an extra warm, beautiful day to be out and about enjoying the unexpected weather!

We had a very productive weekend at the farm! Huge thank you to Jen Valentine and Jimmy for being wonderful leaders for the baby horse! With Jimmy's support Sunny navigated his first show like a champ and even came home with a pretty yellow ribbon! Good ponies!!
