Yesterday was so much fun at Return to the Ridge! We chose a triples format for this tournament.

Minooka +14
Oswego +18
Leland +36

Anthony Zeno tied for 9th at +8.
Isaac Risch went +9
"Tomahawk" Tyler Hickman went +19
New freshman Mason Bland also finished +19.

Big thank you to Matt Anderson and Oswego for hosting this fantastic event. A big shout out to all the competitors and Minooka and Jason Allen for sweeping the girls and team titles!

We are starting our 2nd full year as a disc golf club with a special announcement!

We are officially recognized by the IHSA as an emerging sport as a disc golf club! We are the 4th school after Minooka, (Machesney Park) Harlem, and Antioch!

Looking for more students to join us after our boys team participated in and girls team finished 2nd in State!

Leland Scholastic Flex 2026 is a Disc golfflex-start tournament in Leland, Illinois beginning August 15, 2026 and hosted by Casey Martinson.

After a successful PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships with 8 Illinois Students participating, including our state champion Jimi Gosinski, we are looking forward to the next school season!

On September 5th we will be hosting at Eagle Ridge in Oswego. We also will be putting out other events to our full calendar as the school year begins.

New students, new schools, out of state students/schools feel free to reach out!

Very excited to say the girls varsity team of Aimee Kleveno and Rachel Dean took 2nd place today in Mokena at the Illinois High School Disc Golf Clubs State Championship!!!

Aimee also finished in 3rd place overall!

Leland had a great showing with 8 students and the boys took 6th place!

Bummed that one of our seniors couldn't make it to Disc Golf State but he has a darn good reason!

Good luck at State Track Gunnar!

Leland's Gunnar Swenson will compete this week at the IHSA State Track & Field Competition. Preliminary events will take place on Thursday, and winners will advance to the finals on Saturday.

Gunnar has broken his personal and school record for Somonauk, but he looks to shave off a couple seconds in the 800M to set a new Leland HS record.

We wish Gunnar luck and speed at State! 🍀 🏃🏼
