Found a local builder quoting about $1250 per table! Ouch. Got the drawings. Got the quote. Over 6 months later than expected. Working through the real iteration is next. Maximum build 8 tables. 4 set for local access.

Just this last week the games played reminded me of good and bad days on the course. Sometimes it just doesn't work, sometimes you can just feel it.

This isn't about getting rich, this is about playing a game I want to play. How to get the tables to others that might enjoy it is now totally in question but not out of reach.

I'm working on it. Battle Axes Lexington you are my goal!

What a clinic the World Foosball Tour put on for the world of foosball this past weekend!

I personally got to witness the tournament unfold and am walking away with a great respect for the game.

And given the opportunity to share my game in a room full of competitive spirits learned much about conveying the game to people unfamiliar with the table and the rules.

After a little test last weekend it was obvious that the official rules appeared too daunting when first walking up to the table, not being taught in person. Totally get it. There are some strange scenarios because of the table characteristics that need to be handled and the rules were designed to be a chess match. So a Checkers version! I'm wondering if it's been simplified enough? Link attached below.

Once you see the pattern of play the flow starts making sense. The checkers version (Quick Play) helps set up the tone while giving new players a chance to learn how to hit the ball.

I believe that this set strikes the balance of approachability while introducing the more competitive game's play-logic. Tell me otherwise.

El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant - Hamburg Has graciously opened their private nook for a Pivic table! House favorite dinner out! Amazing people! And lucky for us, it's Hamburg side of town; didn't think there was a place out here for the game.

They have treated us like gold since the day they opened and I think you'll find the same.
