Many of you know that I lost one of my people, Fenton Dawson, to the Flight 5191 crash at Bluegrass airport on August 27, 2006.
For the next 10 years we would host the Fenton Dawson Memorial Volleyball Tournament in his honor, donating $10k to high school volleyball teams and then to the preservation fund for the University of KY arboretum Flight 5191 Memorial.

On October 3, the Fenton Dawson Memorial crew is participating in a Habitat for Humanity Ladies Only Build.
We would be honored if you would join us!
You’d need to create a profile by using the link below and then go to ‘Opportunities’ and register for the build on Oct 3.
Again, this is for the ladies and dang, you know I’d love to squeeze you tight that day!

In honor of Fenton, on this 15th anniversary of the crash Flight 5191 - I wanted to give a shout out to all you FDMVTers out there! While we may not be able to hug our family and friends as frequently as we’d like these days, there is NOTHING to stop you from sending a simple text letting someone know you’re thinking about them.
Spread the love, y’all! This world needs you more than ever!!
We miss you!

We ask that you keep one of our FDMVT family members, Kevin Michaux, and his family, in your prayers and hearts.
Kevin, please know that we love you and we are here for anything you need.

Remembering a best friend, lost to gun violence Lexington Police have opened up 32 homicide investigations so far in 2020. The most recent happened in the early hours of Sunday morning along Payne Street.

I am really missing my FDMVT'ers about now! I hope you all have had an incredible summer so far!
Please don't forget to high five, laugh, celebrate, and hug your friends this summer - actually, any time you have the chance.

I'm not sure you know this.
The last night Fenton spent with his family and friends was at Picnic with the Pops. It is an event that means as much to us as our tournament did.
If any of you are at Picnic with the Pops on Friday the 18th and see a group of FDMVT shirts hanging in the lawn - it's us, celebrating Fenton!
PLEASE come give us a hug! We would LOVE to see you!
