Finished the day 3-1 and Silver Bracket Champions. Overall good day for the team. The girls started the day off slow but ended strong. Proud of everyone and the effort the put in today.

Major League Baseball today announced a strategic investment in the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL), marking a first-of-its-kind, comprehensive partnership with a women’s professional sports league.

The new pro softball league launches its inaugural season with Opening Day on Saturday, June 7th with games in Rosemont, IL and Wichita, KS.

Our team can not thank all the Women and Men who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country.

Next thing you knew, she was suiting up for her first travel ball team—nervous, excited, unsure if she belonged. Then came the nod: “You made the team.”

From local games to hotel rooms in Tennessee.
From long car rides to Atlanta and Colorado to late nights in California. From The Sparkler to PGF Nationals to Florida PGF showdowns under the lights.

You watched her grow. You watched her fail. You watched her win.

You argued over lineups. You celebrated walk-offs. You carried her heartbreak after big losses and shared her joy in championship moments.

Now you scroll Facebook… and you see it.

“The last high school game.”

Soon…

“The final travel ball tournament.”

“She’s moving on.”

The game ends. It always does. But how we live it—that’s what lasts.

We spend so much time chasing results, pushing for exposure, counting stats…

What if we spent more time building bonds that outlive the scoreboard?

What if we made more memories and less pressure?

A wise man once told me:

“If you want to watch your granddaughters play the game, then treat your daughters like that now.”
Because if she doesn’t love it—truly love it—she’ll never pass it on.

So while you’re grinding through lessons, packing buckets, juggling homework, and reminding her to hit—pause.

These are the good old days.
These are the moments you’ll wish for back.

One day, you’ll wake up… and you won’t have anyone left to take to practice.

So soak it all in. Be proud of her. And hold tight to the journey—

Because the end will come.

But the bond? That’s yours forever.
