Only a few days left until dead period. These guys have worked hard this summer and wanted to come in today on their off-day. Everyday is an opportunity to get better.

We’ve had a great off-season and are excited to begin some live game action beginning Monday. Thank you to our Dunbar alumni and members of UKMBB for coming out and getting some run in with our guys.

Paul Laurence Dunbar Names Alum Jordan Brown as Head Boys Basketball Coach

LEXINGTON, KY – Paul Laurence Dunbar announces Jordan Brown as the new head coach of the boys basketball program.

Coach Brown’s roots run deep at PLD. A proud Dunbar graduate and a standout member of the Bulldogs’ 2016 State Championship team, Brown has spent the last several seasons serving as an assistant coach under former head coaches Scott Chalk and Steve Quattrocchi, providing crucial continuity and leadership for the program.

His commitment to our student-athletes and the broader school community is evident in everything he does, particularly in how he builds meaningful relationships. Congratulations to Senior Guard Blake Young on his commitment to Lindsey Wilson!

We will start our offseason skill development program tomorrow after school.

We will be going Monday-Thursday every week until we start summer basketball.

Tomorrow will be in the gym. We will be done by 5:30. This is for returning players and anyone wanting to play next year.
