Lady Koach

Call

Young Christian based basketball organization. Here to give you updates on our growth and journey!

09/29/2026

Lady Koach was founded in January 2026 by BJ Washington with a group of girls from different basketball backgrounds—some experienced, some brand new to travel basketball, and some new to the game completely. Through hard practices, dedication, and a willingness to learn, Lady Koach competed in 8 tournaments from January through August, finishing with a 26–12 record. The team won one tournament, finished runner-up four times, went 3–1 in Wichita against established programs, and competed at Nationals, battling in close games against teams from Nebraska and Houston.

Lady Koach is built on small-town girls with big goals—girls who are hungry to improve, compete, and keep growing together. We are now looking to complete our team and continue building something special.

From this point forward, every game we play will be in loving memory of our dear friend and family member, Zach Buchman. May he continue to rest in peace.

Was missing a few last weekend that were here today. Girls were upset about last weekend how they came out but didn’t finish games so we had 3 hard days of practice IN A ROW and came here saying we’re gonna dominate! And they did that! Love these girls and all the different personalities lol! Back to work.
