Brady Greer (Strength Coach)
Brady attended Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs and received an Associate’s Degree of Science with an emphasis in athletic training. While getting his associates degree, Brady played soccer for the men’s soccer team. Through the athletic training program he had the opportunity to work with a myriad of athletic teams in pre and post practice settings.
Brady transferred and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Psychology with a minor in coaching. Since graduating and moving to Lincoln in 2014, Brady has worked in many different areas of sport and fitness ranging from golf, soccer, tennis, endurance sports, power lifting, group exercise, general population, and geriatric care. Brady is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, DNS Level II, and CPR/AED/First Aid certified.
Brady is originally from Harlan, Iowa and enjoys getting back to spend time with friends and family. Other hobbies of his include listening to and playing music, golf, sand volleyball, and DIY projects around the house.

This group of participants lost an average of 6 inches off of the chest, waist, abdomen, and hips. They also had an average loss of just over 1% body fat. All improved on the four different strength assessment categories. Great numbers for six weeks of hard work.

After completing a food journal and the Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire – an extensive health survey, we will break down the results to help develop a tailored nutrition and lifestyle plan to help you achieve your personal goals. Each week will address a new topic in the form of daily emails, handouts, and guides so that we can build a lasting plan that works!
Along with the individualized nutrition planning, there will be weigh-ins, measurements, and a strength assessment to track progress and provide accountability throughout the challenge. The exercise sessions are an hour each, and cover warming up properly, stability and mobility for your joints, and instruction on exercises that help you feel better for your daily life. Most if not all exercises can be modified to meet your unique fitness needs.
The Whole Health Challenge will begin on January 5th and run six weeks through February 16th. With registration you get access to small group exercise sessions, usually 6 people per session. Less Sweet, More Sweat – Fall Challenge and Detox!
It is that time of year again! Your kids are going back to school, your vacations have been had, and your routine has lost its way. What better way to get back on track with your goals than a 5-week healthy detox and challenge. Here is a review from our challenge that was done in the spring.
“Before starting at Prime Fitness I was in a slump; eating poorly and not taking care of my physical health. I made excuses and thought I was too busy to focus on diet and exercise. Then in January 2018, I threw my back out. After weeks of physical therapy, I started seeing Dr. Scott at Synergy Chiropractic and he connected me with Brady and Prime Fitness.
Brady started by giving me simple exercises and breathing techniques that helped my back. Then I learned about a 5-week challenge involving exercise and new eating habits. The challenge gave me the accountability and knowledge I needed to get out of my slump and to help prevent another back injury. The sugar-detox was very educational and focused on real, whole foods. It encouraged a healthy relationship with food that was not heavily structured or restrictive. Olivia Borer provided amazing guidance and practical resources that I continue to use today. My energy improved greatly and by the end of the challenge I had lost 10 pounds and over 10 inches.
Since attending Prime I have learned how to truly "workout." Before I was never confident with how to use weights or what exercises I should do. Today, I know so many beneficial exercises and how to use weights. I'm also learning proper form to use during exercises, my back is stronger, and I am no longer in pain!

The fall challenge will begin on August 18th and run through September 22nd. "In the past I had tried working out a various gyms throughout Lincoln but could never find a place where I felt comfortable enough to join group work out sessions. A friend suggested I look in to what Prime Fitness has to offer and I'm so glad that she did. The classes are small and are not crazy or complicated and fit exactly to what i'm looking for when it comes to building my overall physical strength and conditioning. Brady does a great job catering to the physical needs and/or limitations of each person in the class ensuring that we do the various activities correctly so as to limit any kind of injury as well as get the optimal results that are associated with each activity. Since joining Prime Fitness I have experienced an overall increase in my strength and stamina and the aches and pains in my joints associated with being a 50 year old female that I felt in the past have decreased significantly.
Each class is broken in to sections where there is attention given to stretching, warming up and then the core body focus of the days instruction. Congratulations to our winners of our Spring into Summer Detox and Challenge. These participants lost an average of 9.5 pounds, 1.2% body fat, and 7.3 inches in 5 weeks. With the help of Olivia Borer we crushed a 21 day sugar detox and learned how to make a plate full of real, nutrient dense food.

A little Spotlight on this Thanksgiving Eve! Annette Diltz Manley is such a joy to have in our classes. Every day, morning or evening, her attitude brightens up the room and creates an atmosphere that is truly unique. I have enjoyed getting to know Annette and her family over the last few months and look forward to more accomplishments in the future! Here is her story.
In April 2017, I went to the doctor for a physical. The doctor called and said my A1C was too high. It was ranging between a 6.4 at 6.5 and they were going to have to put me on medicine. When I heard this news, I was devastated. I knew I was overweight and continuing down a path of unhealthy habits.
I have a family history of diabetes, including my mom. I am the Power of Attorney for my mom’s health, which means I go to all her doctor appointments with her and I have witnessed the consequences of this horrible disease. I saw my mom lose fingers, toes, and a leg. She is a 3 day a week dialysis patient too because of kidney failure.
My mom raised 8 kids by herself and never had time to take proper care of herself. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard her say, “I wish I had been able to do it differently.” She invested so much time into her family that her health got put on the back burner. She is the best mom in the world and I am very blessed to have her in my life. I knew that if I didn’t change my lifestyle, then I would be faced with the same obstacles that my mom is currently facing today.
At the time of hearing my results at the doctor’s office, I was trying to lose weight on my own. I was able to lose 20 pounds at weight watchers, but I knew I needed a lot more than that. I needed to learn to eat all over again. So I sought the ultimate healer and prayed, I asked Jesus to help find the right path for me. His answer came when I attended a seminar that was led by Dr. Dziko. She introduced me to a weight loss program that teaches healthy eating habits and how to live a healthy life style.
God is so good to me. That following week I had an appointment at Synergy Chiropractic Spine & Joint Center. My chiropractor, Brad Hochstein was telling me about a fitness challenge that was starting there. I knew this was an answer to prayer. This was definitely going to be a challenge because at the time, I was having a difficult time playing on the floor or even taking my grandkids for walks. So, my goal was to get myself healthy enough to be a rocking grandma. I never wanted my kids to see what I saw taking care of my mom. I will never forget watching all the pain my mom was in after every amputation. Seeing in her eyes how tired she was and knowing how much she wishes she had been able to change her life and not be a diabetic.
Being 56 years old and having a full knee replacement the previous year, I was hesitant to step out of my comfort zone; however, I knew that this was the next step. So, I took my doctor’s challenge to lose weight and exercise and started with Prime Fitness under the supervision of Brady Greer. I joined a 6 week/5 days a week fitness challenge. At the end of the 6 week challenge, I lost 16 pounds and 13 inches. With this weight loss, I also placed first in the competition and won a new Fitbit! I never thought I could do it. I owe a lot to Prime Fitness and Brady. I couldn’t have done it without his encouragement. He is so good at making exercise seem so simple. I love it and it has helped so much with my diet plan. Exercise and diet is something diabetes doesn’t like.
I started this journey in April and I am down 50 pounds. I can take long walks with my grand kids and play with them on the floor. I have gained a lot of muscle and have so much more energy than I used to. I can do things I never thought I could do again, such as run! Brady and Prime Fitness have taught me the value of exercise and that I can do anything with a strong support system around me. I wish I could make everyone understand how important it is we take care of ourselves. Every day I look forward to getting to exercise and see all my friends at Prime Fitness. They are such an encouragement to me.
I am not finished yet, I have more weight to lose and more exercises’ to learn. However, I have taken control of my life. I will not let a disease control my future. I praise Jesus daily for teaching me how important it is to take care of myself on a daily basis. I am on the journey of a lifetime.
