Who's kicking off their season with us? 👇🏼

My dad and Shawn accomplished some work on the micro sprint over the weekend. 💪🏼
They installed safety bars and the frame is ready to be sent out for sand-blasting and powder-coating. The future is looking bright 🤩

📊 RESULTS | Kam Raceway
07.25.2025
Heat Race: P2 ➝ P1
Feature: P2 ➝ P2

Kruz wasted no time in the heat race, taking command from the drop of the green and never looking back—securing his second heat race win of the season with a smooth and dominant drive.

In the feature, he again jumped out front early and settled into a strong rhythm, clicking off consistent laps while navigating cleanly through the opening circuits. As the field approached halfway, Kruz began encountering lapped traffic. After last week’s run-in with a lapped car, he approached the situation with a bit more caution, which unfortunately allowed second place to close in and make a pass for the lead.

Still, Kruz showed resilience—closing a 1.3-second gap to just 0.594 seconds by the checkered flag.

He’s showing impressive speed and maturity, proving that even a small bump in the road can’t hold him back for long. We’re proud of his continued progress and excited to see what’s ahead.

Kruz will be off next weekend (August 1) as he supports his dad, who’s competing in the High Banks 305 Nationals at the legendary Belleville High Banks.

Kruz was well on his way to a feature win, when he was trying to navigate lap traffic and jumped over one of the lap cars, sending him head on into the wall and flipping.

Thankfully, he was checked out in the ambulance by EMTs at the track who said to keep an eye on him, but in general he looked healthy. The medical staff on site was thorough and helpful, making sure he was okay after a really hard hit. Our little guy is tough as nails.

We would like to say thank you to all those who checked on him after he was released from the ambulance. He has the best safety gear on the market, which did its job tonight in keeping him safe. We will regroup and go chase a victory again — he is so bummed this one didn’t work out the way he had hoped.e

🖤 Happy Father’s Day 🖤

Behind every young racer is a dad who tightens the belts, calms the nerves, and teaches the meaning of grit. It’s not just about racing — it’s about the bond built in the pits, the lessons passed down in the driver’s seat, and the love that fuels it all.

Here’s to the dads who do it all — the crew chiefs, the coaches, the confidence-boosters. My dad is a living Superman!

Thank you for being the heart of the team. 🏁

Kruzer finally was able to get his first race in the Junior Sprint under his belt last night at Kam Raceway! He was able to get faster each time he hit the track and kept his line no matter who was around, even got comfortable enough to pass cars!

Heat Race: P6 > P4
Feature: P4 > P3

He elected to tag the tail in the heat to ensure he didn't get ran over by anyone and actually passed a couple cars! In the feature, he lined up fourth, and after a late race caution was able to snag 3rd place - where he finished. All in all, a great night! Proud of our little guy.

We'd like to give a special shoutout to Mike Sosebee for the custom K1 suit - pictures soon! Kruz looks just like his dad does with that little fire suit on.
