5280’s fall trial is a wrap!

We are thankful for such enjoyable programs from judge Donna Matey and decoys Paul Salveson, Ethan Hilgemann, and Cody Smith. We hope to see you all again!

Congratulations to every team that stepped on the field this weekend. We have members of our own who need some recognition.

Level 3:
Milan & Torque - 326.5 and new MR3
Olivia & Fletcher - 358.5 and new MR3
Sasha & Rico - 286 and a very strong showing for a first ever level 3 attempt

Level 2:
Leah & Link - 292 and first MR2 leg

And we owe a huge congratulations to our extended New Mexico family, Traci & Heist who finished their MR2!

Additionally we had club members Ann, Brian, and LauraAnn whose support is what allowed us to host this trial. We could not play this sport without our village. We are a small but mighty group of friends!

We hope to see you all again next year!

Last weekend’s 5280 Ringsport French Ring trial was quite a success. Despite temperatures topping out 93 degrees we managed to get an early start and keep dogs safe. We are thankful for the jury’s sharp eyes and skilled work, judge Jose Camarena and decoys Ty Monson and Netho Flores. Congratulations to all the teams who stepped on the field!

5280 Ringsport sent 3 teams to the USMRA Nationals and had a strong showing. We are so appreciative of all of the hard work put in by our club members and decoys Francois Massart and Paul Salveson. None of this would be possible without them! Congratulations all 3 teams!

5280 Ringsport had a great weekend in Penrose! Together we have:

New MR1 Amanda and Menace!
New MR2 Milan and Torque!
New MR2 Sasha and Rico!

Olivia and Fletcher put in another MR2 leg, and Milan and Mettle have a new PR in MR3 with a 355!

Ann and Sonic did a lovely DIW for level 2, and Olivia and Pepper did DIW for level 3 and even had a call off.

Thank you so much to decoys Luke Lisa and Dylan Ernst for their safe and challenging work, and Judge Mahogany Gamble. Caleb K9 did a great job putting on a trial, it’s a huge undertaking!
