Bevels ground and bolster fit up. I love and hate fitting bolsters because of how time consuming they are to do well. When you get it though 😍🔥

I'm going to be going a different route with this bolster. Doing a textured heirloom fit.

This jewelers saw has made life much easier when it comes to slotting out guards. It's no milling machine but it's a lot quicker than trying to use needle files

If you are doing a lot of slotted guards do yourself a favor and get one of these

Alright it's time to polish this turd 😁 like I said in my other post, I like to forge a bit oversized so than that way I can trace it onto paper and fabricate a design for it

Getting a down and dirty profile for my next knife build

I tend to forge a bit bigger than needed and then grind to final profile. I didn't forge the bevels on this one because I plan on doing a swedge on top and I don't trust my forging skill to do that quite yet 😜

The state of my garage/workshop has been a total embarrassment for the last few weeks 😬. It's not the most comfortable thing to stand in an unheated garage with below freezing temps so I tend to jump in and out as quickly as possible

This place was a disaster though! Everything was covered in a layer of sawdust and the floor had forge scale and dirt everywhere. It was getting to the point that I was getting anxious just being in there

So yesterday evening I was able to get some cleaning in(swipe for progress) and it's crazy how much better I feel about it lol

The shop needs some better organization that's for sure but at least I can walk around in it. I might even be able to actually squeeze my car in there now 🤣😂

Newest finished knife already with it's new owner. I love the way this one came out 😍. 8 inch French style cheffy hand forged from 1080 high carbon. She walks down the runway sporting a 1000 grit satin finish with red bottom shoes and black G10 pins for a nice contrasting color
