Sato Drone Soccer Team

There’s a mix of pride and sadness as we say goodbye to 12 incredible senior drone soccer players. These students have helped build our program through their hard work, leadership, dedication, and countless hours of practice and competition.

While it’s tough to imagine the team without them, their impact on our drone soccer family will never be forgotten. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish next as they take their talents, skills, and determination into the world.

SENIOR SHOUT OUT for Ivan. Ivan is one of the best strikers in the country. He was on Team USA that went to Germany in 2023. He’ll be studying mechanical engineering at CSULB - Go Beach!

SENIOR SHOUT OUT for Ross. He is the team captain for Sato Mushu and Team USA. He’s one of the most recognizable faces in drone soccer for his ability as a striker and his willingness to help others. He’ll be going to CSULB in the fall to study Aerospace Engineering - Go Beach! Good luck Ross.

SENIOR SHOUT OUT for Kailexis. She’s off to Santa Monica College to study Mechanical Engineering. Kai’s been on 2 international trips to China and France representing Team USA and Sato. She’s an awesome defender and backup goalie. Good luck Kai!

Huge congrats to Sam for being awarded a $20,000 scholarship to and thanks to for the nomination. Congrats to Jett, Vivian, Kira, Sam, Ross, and Ivan for your awards and always representing SDS and . Your leadership and mentorship is greatly appreciated. ✏️

SENIOR SHOUT OUT for Diana. Diana is one of Mushu’s defenders and played on Team USA in China. She’s in the Bio Pathway and will be studying Biological Sciences at UC Irvine in fall. Best of luck on your new beginning!

SENIOR SHOUT OUT for Jaiden. Jaiden will be pursuing her dreams of being a Biomedical Engineer at CSULB - Go Beach! She’s a great defender in the arena and has been playing drone soccer for 4 years.

SENIOR SHOUT OUT for Jett. Jett has been an awesome defender over the years and was the backup striker for Team USA in France. He will be majoring in mechanical engineering at CSULB - Go Beach! ✏️

Huge congratulations to Team Sato!

Mushu and Dragon Fire brought the heat to the 2026 US Drone Soccer Championship at in Daytona Beach, Florida, finishing an incredible 🥈 2nd Place and 🥉 3rd Place overall!

These teams showed nonstop determination, teamwork, and skill against some of the best drone soccer programs in the country. We are beyond proud of the hard work, long practices, and dedication that led to this amazing accomplishment.

Thank you to all of our students, coaches, families, and supporters who continue to help Sato Drone Soccer grow and compete at the highest level. Thank you and for putting on an incredible tournament this year. The future is bright! 🚁🇺🇸

SENIOR SHOUT OUT for Annika. She’s an awesome goalie over the past 4 years and was on the 2nd place USA Team in France. She’s off to UCSC in the fall to major in Physics. She will accomplish great things.
